Dojo Go Setup

For more information on self installation of the Dojo PAX A920 follow our step by step guide below.

This is a self service guide for customers installing their own devices, if you are already trading, please do not proceed

The first device will take around 45 minutes setup and 15 minutes each per additional device

Step 1 of 5

Before You Start

Before starting the setup and installation the following will be required

  • WiFi network details

  • Dojo Activation Codes

  • Site Credentials (Host URL, APK Key)

  • Table Plan, if using pay at table

  • Money belt details (If this hasn’t been set up, or you don’t know what it is, please contact your Zonal Account Manager)

  • Data setup (Zonal Data Bureau or your own internal data dept)

Step 2 of 5

Setup for Each Device

Follow these steps on each device:

  1. Switch on the device | select Getting Started

  2. Connect to your Wifi Network

  3. Enter Activation Code

  4. Verify your company name | select Continue

  5. Setup your preferred gratuity setting

  6. Setup your supervisor code (this will be required later)

  7. Select Let's Go

  8. Complete a test transaction (suggestion of 0.01)

    If the payment fails contact Dojo Support: 0800 044 3550
  9. When the test transaction is successful, select Done

Device / Integration Setup

Processing mapping from the POS can be completed at 1 open Aztec terminal

For each Dojo payment device complete the following to enable the required features:

  1. Select the Burger Menu (three lines) at the top left of the screen | Settings | Integrated Payments

  2. Enter the Supervisor Code(this was set in the earlier in step 1)

  3. Select and enable Pay at Counter

  4. Enable Gratuity, if required | select the back arrow

  5. Select and enable Pay at Table, if required | Toggle On | enable Waiter ID | select the back arrow once

  6. Return to the burger menu (three lines) | Summary | enter the Supervisor Code

  7. Press the Print button | Do Not Tear off the Slip

    To complete the next part ensure that your POS Terminal is open ready for trading and if you are using Pay at Table a money belt session started
  8. On the Aztec POS terminal, tap an item to ring in a sale | tap Pay | tap the Card payment button

  9. Select the TID displayed on the POS terminal that is being installed the TID is displayed on the printed slip from the device feature setup stage

  10. The Dojo device will prompt to take payment | tap X to cancel the transaction | select Yes | transaction Cancelled, tap OK

    Complete the above steps for each new Dojo device you are adding, each TID will be displayed on the printed slips
  11. For the third part of the integration a full payment should be processed to check the end to end journey

    Process a complete transaction from the POS terminal, if prompted selected the device to handle the payment | enter a card or tap for contacless

    Select OK on the POS | tap Done on the Dojo device

  12. Process a refund of the tested card payment

Zonal recommends labelling each Dojo device for easy identification

Step 4 of 5

Pay at Table Setup

Follow these steps if pay at table is required:

  1. Create a table with some sold items on the POS terminal and save the account

  2. On the Dojo device tap Settle Table | enter your POS terminal PIN number | select the required table

  3. Process the payment on the device | check that the table has been closed on the POS terminal

  4. Process a refunded of the tested pay at table transaction

Remove Old Devices

  • Disconnect any PIN Pad terminals / devices / cradles

  • Remove any power or network cables from POS terminals and wall sockets
